One day on our vacation, we drove into the mountains to enjoy some time away from Vail. What we discovered at the end of the dirt road was beautiful Piney Lake and Piney River with a gorgeous view of the Gore Mountain range. We enjoyed a short hike, lots of sunshine, and a picnic lunch at our destination. Eli got to face forward in the Baby Bjorn for the first time and got to enjoy the mountain views with his parents! We got a kick out of a sign along the trail telling us we were entering the “wilderness.” I wasn’t quite sure what was different on the other side of the side that made it suddenly the “wilderness,” but I got a kick out of bringing Eli into the “wilderness” for the first time
