Avocado Ranch Dressing

This well flavored dressing is easy to mix and tasty to eat.

Ingredients

1 tablespoon Red onion
1 tablespoon Fresh cilantro
1 clove Garlic
1 Avocado
1/2 teaspoon Hot pepper sauce
1 tablespoon Lime juice
1/2 cup Buttermilk
1/4 cup Mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon Sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Pepper


 

Instructions
Put red onion, cilantro, and garlic in food processor. Pulse until minced. Add avocado, pepper sauce, and lime juice. Puree until avocado is somewhat broken down. Add remaining ingredients and process until dressing is completely smooth. Can be refrigerated up to 1 week. Serve on top of crisp lettuce like romaine or iceberg. Good with thin-sliced red onion, grape tomatoes, and crumbled bacon.
